Salchichón gives a different space on the plate. Where chorizo brings paprika and colour, this product offers a milder, more rounded cured sausage profile with ibérico fat, spice and a clean slice.
It works well when the service needs charcuterie with depth, but without too much smoke, paprika or heat.
Use it for tapas, wine service, bocadillos, small sharing boards or mixed ibérico selections. It can sit next to cheese, bread, olives or a light acidic contrast without taking over the plate.
For a simple bocadillo, it gives flavour and fat without needing sauce. In a tasting plate, it creates a softer counterpoint to chorizo, jamón or stronger cured products.
