A simple bocadillo with only ham can be enough. The natural fat gives the bread flavour and texture, so it does not need to be overloaded with oil, sauce or decoration.
Use a few slices over warm eggs, huevos rancheros, fried potatoes, roasted vegetables or a soft tortilla. The idea is not to cook the ham, but to let gentle heat release the aroma and bring the product forward.
