Description

Paprika, Garlic and Pork - A Great Combination

Panceta Adobada brings together pork belly, sweet paprika, garlic and traditional Spanish seasoning. Its rich flavour develops beautifully during cooking, especially when the fat begins to melt and the edges turn golden.

The paprika gives the meat its deep red colour and a warm, savoury flavour without making it hot or spicy.

From the Grill to the Stew Pot

Cut into thick slices and cook on the grill or in a frying pan until nicely browned. Serve with roasted potatoes, grilled peppers or a simple salad.

For a more traditional dish, add chunks of panceta to white beans, lentils or chickpeas. The meat slowly releases its flavour into the sauce, giving even a simple stew plenty of character.

A Few More Ideas

Try thin slices in a warm bread roll with grilled onions, or use small pieces to add flavour to sautéed mushrooms, cabbage or potatoes.

Diced panceta is also excellent in savoury pies, rice dishes and rustic vegetable casseroles.

Make the Most of Every Piece

A whole piece gives plenty of choice when cutting portions. Thick slices for grilling, smaller pieces for stews or fine strips for dishes where the panceta adds flavour throughout.

The paprika and garlic are already there, making it easy to create something tasty without adding much more.

Always cook thoroughly before serving.
